Session Data: When you create a dining session, we collect the session name, restaurant options (names and cuisine types), and session settings you provide.

Participant Information: We collect participant names entered by users when joining a session, game preferences (Plinko, Wheel, or Direct Choice), and vote selections.

Usage Data: We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type and version, device information, and session activity timestamps.

Chat Data: When using our Foodie Advisor chat feature, we collect conversation messages to provide personalized restaurant recommendations.

We use the collected information to:

• Facilitate group dining decision-making sessions
• Display real-time voting results and participant status
• Provide personalized restaurant recommendations through AI advisors
• Improve and optimize our platform features and user experience
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance service quality
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and ensure platform security

Database: All session data is stored securely in our Supabase database with encryption at rest and in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.

Access Controls: We implement Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure data isolation and proper access controls.

Data Retention: Session data is automatically deleted 7 days after creation. Users can manually delete sessions at any time.

No Account Required: We do not require user accounts or store personal authentication credentials. Sessions are accessed via unique, randomly generated UUIDs.

Vercel Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage analytics to improve our service.

We use essential cookies to maintain session state and ensure proper functionality. These cookies are necessary for the platform to work and cannot be disabled.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.

Session Sharing: When you create a session, you can share the session link with participants. Anyone with the link can view the restaurants and participate in voting.

Public Results: Voting results are visible to anyone with the session link, including participant names and their selections.

No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access your session data at any time via the session link
• Request deletion of specific session data by contacting us
• Opt-out of analytics tracking (contact us for instructions)
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

Our service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this privacy policy.
